iMask Premium Cooling Salon-Flash adopts Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology.

The device can be used to treat a wide range of skin & hair colours. Please refer to the Colour Chart Picture for details of the treatable skin & hair colours.
The principle rule is that "dark hair and fair skin".
The hair removal device targets dark pigmentation, there needs to be a high contrast between hair colour and skin pigment for effective targeting.
If the skin pigment is dark, the darker skin around the follicle can absorb the intense light as well, causing blisters and burns.
In contrast, if hair colour is fair, the hair follicle cannot be effectively targeted to achieve hair removal result.
